The poetry of Cavalcanti, a leading poet of the late twelfth and early thirteenth centuries and a close friend of Dante, was rescued from virtual obscurity by Ezra Pound, who translated his works into English. The 36th book of The Arion Press, printed on handmade Umbia paper and produced under the direction of Andrew Hoyem.
