Limited issue of the first trade edition. Copy #666 of 750. Publisher's quarter pigskin over buckram covered boards, stamped in gilt with top edge gilt. Very Good with rubbing to spine at extremities,uneven sunning to cloth at rear, light foxing to textblock edge. This limitation was issued alongside the first trade edition. It was preceded by two very small limitations issued in the 1920s; the first was printed in 1922 for friends, in a meager run of 8 copies, of which only 6 are extant today; then for subscriber in 1926, limited to 211 copies with only 175 of them complete.
